Three steps to book an appointment

Speak with your GP.
To start your health journey with us, discuss a referral to Tranquil Wave Health with your GP, see ‘For GPs’.
For ADHD assessments we require pre-appointment investigations to be completed and documentation from yourself.

Submit the referral to us.
You can submit your referral in
two ways to us:
1: Your GP referring you to us via Healthlink EDI: tranquwh; Medical-Objects; or ReferralNet.
2: Upload your referral when booking your appointment online.

Book an appointment online.
We are an online clinic. Please complete the online booking process via Halaxy, including selecting an appointment time, completing the patient intake form, making full payment and checking your medicare rebate eligibility.

Is not included in above fees or psychiatric reviews (e.g. driving assessments). Please enquire if this is required and is billed separately.
We do not complete medico-legal reports.
Booking Instructions

Review the fees listed above for new and existing patients, including general psychiatry, ADHD and addiction psychiatry

Appointments must be booked 48 hours in advance. All bookings remain ‘pending’ until reviewed by Tranquil Wave Health.
Appointments have cancellation and refund policies. If we cancel your appointment, you will receive a full refund.
We use Ai transcribing software (Heidi Ai) for all appointments.

You may cancel or reschedule with a full refund (minus the non-refundable merchant fee) if you give more than 48 hours notice.
Use the “Manage Appointment” link in your confirmation email to cancel or reschedule. If you are unable to complete yourself please contact the clinic by phone: (03) 4823 2825 or email: contact@tranquilwavehealth.com.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the full appointment fee.
If we cancel your appointment you will receive a full refund.

Step 1 – Obtain a referral from your GP (usually valid for 12 months) or Specialist (usually valid for 3 months).
Step 2 – Payment for your appointment is required at the time of booking. Please ensure you have reviewed the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Step 3 – Click link to ‘Book Online’
choose your psychiatrist;
select a NEW PATIENT appointment (Standard Consultation, ADHD Assessment or GP management plan (if requested by your GP);
pick an appointment time (minimum of 48 hours notice);
please complete the patient intake form;
upload your referral or have it sent directly to us by your referrer;
sign the consent form (note we use secure Ai software for note transcribing (Heidi Ai));
pay the consultation fee; and
your appointment will remain ‘pending’ until reviewed by Tranquil Wave Health.

select a EXISTING PATIENT appointment (Medication review only, 30-minute consultation or 45-minute consultation), all review appointments are charged the same fees for general psychiatry, ADHD or addiction psychiatry;
pick an appointment time (minimum 48 hours notice);
sign the consent form (note we use secure Ai software for note transcribing (Heidi Ai));
pay the consultation fee; and
your appointment will remain ‘pending’ until reviewed by Tranquil Wave Health.
